It was an enjoyable and productive time. The <a href=\"http:\/\/spwiki.editme.com\/IdentityAttributeService\">IdAS<\/a> has been progressing nicely, and the overall architecture supporting the <a href=\"http:\/\/spwiki.editme.com\/Architecture\">I-Card Selector Service (IS<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/spwiki.editme.com\/Architecture\">S)<\/a> is now well underway.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Trevithick \u00c2\u00a0and Mary Ruddy ran a tight workshop and the IBM facility facilitated nicely. Local Higgins contributors Raj and Greg provided architecture (and restaurant) recommendations, and doubled as tour guides.<\/p>\n<p>It seems to me that the Higgins project has really gained traction and the pace of development has taken off this summer &#8212; there are active\u00c2\u00a0discussions on the mailing lists, well attended\u00c2\u00a0face-to-face meetings, and (woohoo!) <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.eclipse.org\/viewcvs\/index.cgi\/org.eclipse.higgins\/?cvsroot=Technology_Project\">actual code<\/a> getting checked in. We are\u00c2\u00a0on track to put the Higgins pieces together with parts from Bandit and other projects &#8211;\u00c2\u00a0and take this user centric identity space from the realm of concepts and terminology\u00c2\u00a0to\u00c2\u00a0the realm of working code.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fellow Bandit Jim Sermersheim and\u00c2\u00a0I attended the Higgins developer face to face meeting in Raleigh, NC , last week.
